Dominik Szoboszlai is the leading person and captain of Hungary. The Liverpool midfielder is one of the best players in Premier League. Joining from RB Leipzig in June 2023. The €20 million Jurgen Klopp paid for Szoboszlai, made him the most expensive Hungarian player ever. The move is one of many masterminded deals done by Klopp. His eye for a special player makes him unique and special.
Szoboszlai has gone from strength to strength. He has grown under the leadership of Arne Slot. He is now one of the most effective midfielders in the Premier League. 51 caps and 15 goals, since making his debut for Hungary back in 2019. The Hungarian is a product of the Red Bull system being picked up early on by RB Salzburg.

Hungary looks to have a good and well developed recruitment system. It will be intriguing to observe the progress. Their great leader Szoboszlai will be in the thick of the action. Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez is also a young and special prospect. An important player for The Cherries in a remarkable 2024-25 season. Kerkez has so far played 21 times for his nation.
Defender Attila Szalai is another experienced player. He is currently on loan at from Hoffenheim to Standard Liege. 46 caps, making his debut in 2019. A leader in the national team. The 27 year old is very important. Another experienced defender is Adam Lang. He is back in Hungary after spells in Romania and Cypros. Lang has 70 caps.
Two other important players are midfielders Loic Nego and Adam Nagy. Nego is with French club Le Havre, Nagy at Spezia in Italy.
A new generation is coming through. However, players such as Attila Fiola and Willi Orban are still part of plans. They were both picked for the latest international vs. Germany.
