Beryly Lubala has joined Colchester United. The 28 year old has signed a short term permanent contract with the U’s, subject to the usual permissions from the relevant bodies.
The 28-year-old Congolese was most recently with League One side Stevenage, but was released at the end of last season having made 35 appearances in all competitions since joining Alex Revell’s side from Wycombe in July 2025.
He is usualy seen as a left winger, having played for a hosts of clubs. Started at Birmingham, then moved to Crawley and from there to Blackpool.

Beryly Lubalu joined Stevenage from Burton in July last summer, and has triggered transfer fees in all his moves up to this one.
Beryly Lubala was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He grew up in Leicester, England, after moving there at a young age.
