One of our partners, Flashscore, has an exclusive interview with Bosnian goalkeeper Asmir Begovic. In it, he speaks about his time with Stoke and Chelsea. He also discusses the famous goal he scored and the best strikers he ever faced, and more.
On moving from Stoke to Chelsea: “Chelsea were champions. Jose Mourinho was the manager. It was a chance to test myself at the highest level. I have zero regrets. It was one of the best decisions of my career.” On how he reflects on his time at Stoke: “Very fondly. It was a successful time and, in some ways, we overachieved. We had our own style, it suited the players, the city, and the supporters. Everything aligned well, and we achieved some great things together.”
On how the season is going at Leicester: “It’s been a bit up and down. Our ambition is clear: promotion back to the Premier League. We’re still very much in the mix. The last week was positive. We took seven points from nine. Now we’re looking forward to a busy Christmas period. We can really push on during this time.”
