Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca looks to be eager to get Jamie Gittens back to England. The Reading born winger has at early age been under contract at Chelsea, but left to join Reading, and from there moving to Man City to try to break through at The Etihad.
Gittens made a choice as a few other young English players have done in the past, joining Bundesliga and Borussia Dortmund. Before his move to Dortmund, he had no first team experience.
He has been part of the England set up from u.15 uptil u.21 level, so far having added up 28 youth team caps, scoring 2 goals. Since joining Borussia Dortmund back in 2022 he has been fielded in 64 Bundesliga games, scored 11 goals.
Chelsea looks the front runner for the highest rated u.21 player in German football at the moment, with a potential we believe will see Gittens soon becoming a full England international.

Will be interesting to follow the 20 year old as he potentially will be heading back to Premier League with a fee for his services, discussed to be in the region of £80 to £100million.
Borussia Dortmund looks the ideal football talent factory, having so many fantastic players signed and later moved on, Gittens to follow players such as Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho, to just mention a few.
