Arsenal will follow Man City to the door of the final day of Premier League, hoping their bitter rival and London neighbour Tottenham can help them securing their first Premier League title in 20 years.

Kai Havertz was surprisingly signed from Chelsea in the summer for a fee of £65million, becoming a very important player for Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal team.

The German international with 44 caps and 15 goals, had a bit of a struggle at Chelsea, not really being able to adapt and having huge expectations when he arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2020, playing 91 league games and scoring 19 goals in his outings for The Blues.

He has jelled well since arriving at Arsenal and looks to be part of a special group of players that hopefully will be lifting trophies for this club. The job will not be over before the 19th of May, but they could have been taking away from the top with a Man City win vs. Spurs. A draw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will put Arsenal in the drivers seat and they could have everything in their own hands before that final game.

Kai Havertz (24) will most certainly be of great importance as his form and development makes him as vital as ever. His record of different problems with injuries and suspensions in the past is a list longer than you could guess, but since the start of this year he has been consistent, avoided injuries and build a great foundation. This resultet in Havertz getting being voted Arsenal Player of the Month in April.

He has been involved in 36 of the 37 league games played this season and most certainly part of the set up again when Everton comes to visit on Sunday. Everton have nothing play for, Arsenal will of course be fighting to the very end as a Premier League title would be one fantastic achievement, anyway a runners-up medal is not bad either.

Kai Havertz assisted Leandro Trossard on that 1-0 winning goal away to Man Utd, as he has been seen in that top forward role as well being able to play in a wider role as well as the one behind the top striker, being adaptable is the clue. Of course also exciting for German fans to know that the former Bayer Leverkusen player is reacing his peak as a player, coming next is the Euro’s competition at home.
