Alessia Russo (24) is one of the rising stars of women football. The Arsenal forward with 10 goals in 26 competitive games is also rising on the international schene, playing her part in the recent England international 1-1 draw vs. Sweden.
Alessia Russo scored the England goal, taking the lead 1-0 in the 24th minute. Sweden equalized later on, goalscorer Barcelona forward, Fridolina Rolfo.
Alessia Russo joined Arsenal from Man Utd in front of this season, making more progress as her life in football looks to just move on to new and better stages.

A good tally as she will become more and more important for Sarina Wiegman as she prepare for new major tournaments. Russo has starred at the World Cup stage, ending runners-up in 2023, as well as being Euro champion a year before.
She also marked her presence with a special goal vs. Sweden in the 2022 Euro’s, possiplby another key reason why Arsenal made their move. Russo is one exciting prospect and why it is enjoyable to watch this sport as it will become better and better, taking huge steps inside a more professional environment.
