Alexander Isak has so far this season played a total of 30 games and scored 16 goals for Newcastle. In a difficult season for The Magpies there is no doubt that the Swedish interinational has taken huge steps and looks to a potential move. He is on 44 caps for Sweden, a major tally for a 24 year old.

Isak is said to have broken the silence on his future at Newcastle and is in no way counting out a move in the summer, seeing Arsenal as one of the main clubs to be an interesting option.

The start to the year has been great for the Swede, and he is certainly hot property at the moment. The struggle for Newcastle is FFP and to be in guidence with the rules and regulations, and as we all know it depends on their ability to balance books in the run for a future life as one of the major clubs in English football.

Alexander Isak most likely looks at The Magpies as a step towards the higher levels, despite the fact that the club this season has been competing in Champions League. They ended their campaign with just 5 points and last place in their group.

Alexander Isak joined Newcastle in 2022 for a fee of €70 million including €5m in add-ons. At this point it looks as if a move could happen for Newcastle to go into the market to bolster other parts of their squad, with money from such a move if it happens.

A move to Arsenal could see him again joining up with Martin Odegaard, as the two played together at Real Sociedad. The partnership was a flourishing one, and could of course flourish again.

There could of course be other interesting parties as Arsenal will probably be far from alone in this special chase.
