Archie Gray is a hot topic at the moment, the player have taken the steps into first team football at Elland Road this season, with the grandson of Frank Gray now seen as a target for Liverpool.
Latest reports are that Liverpool are eager to get the best young talents in the game to Anfield with Juventus youngster Dean Huijsen, currently on loan at Roma, as another player of interest.
Xabi Alonso was seen as the obvious choice to replace Jurgen Klopp, but after his dismissal of such a move, 39 year old Sporting boss Ruben Amorim is seen as the front runner.
Sporting are currently holding the league lead in Portugal, one point in front of Benfica. Porto are third but not looks unable to catch the top two as the race will continue until the end of the season with just one point between the two top teams.
Ruben Amorim is probably not to known among Liverpool fans, been most of his career as a player and coach in Portugal. Played his football at Belenenses and Benfica, also having loan spells at Braga and in Qatar with Al-Wakrah. His manager career started in 2018 at club Casa Pia, from there to Braga, joining Sporting in 2020.
Interesting switch as Liverpool looks to future with a bit of different approach, clearly having eyes on a transition, that we all know has allready started with Jurgen Klopp bringing forward some very interesting and talented players this season.
