Hansi Flick is the man to lead “Die Mannschaft” to new hights. WE do believe that Germany will sail up as one of the favorites to bring home another World Cup title going to Qatar with great self confidence.
Former boss Joachim Löw managed to build a very interesting team but as so many times before never able to transist his team to more magic seeing his team in decline after the 2014 World Cup triumph.
We do like to see our nations compete in World Cup action and since 2018. Germany has been seeing a number changes both in personel and in managment.
Nico Schlotterbeck (22) is likely to make his full debut vs. Israel who is the first of two games coming up with Holland being the next opponent on the 29th of March. The Freiburg defender looks to be one of those players that we will see as a new rising star.
There are still a few of the old guard left and in this current squad routine is as always seen as important as well as having that new exciting look of a young and adspiring player.
Manuel Neuer is still very much frist choice as the Bayern goalkeeper will be given a his chance vs. Holland with Trapp and Ter Stegen probably given a half each against Israel. All of them are great goalkeepers and among the best in their trade.
Schlotterbeck is not the only player without caps in the squad being joined by Mainz midfielder Anton Stach. A 23 year old impressing in Bundesliga this season as his club has shown great solidity and are currently 10th in the table.
Germany looks heavily strong and the name Kai Havertz is one to look out for. His form for Chelsea has probably been the highlight of their season, and his presence makes him one to watch as he can grow into become one of the real big names of the World Cup coming up.
Hansi Flick knows how to balance a squad with names such as Thomas Muller, Antonio Rudiger and Ilkai Gundogan also in there, undoubtly bringing this squad to a level that will see them as clear favorites to bring home another World Cup.
