Burnley are at the moment without a manager and has given Michael Jackson a chance to lead in the interim period to a new manager is found with the position probably not settled before the end of the season.

The start for MJ was a pleasent one and a draw away at West Ham is no bad result, but wins are needed to get out of the mess.

Two norwegians is said to be among the candidates to take over at Turf Moor, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Bodo manager Kjetil Knutsen are the two and both have seen progress as managers despite OGS being dismissed at Man Utd, ending 2nd and 3rd in the last two seasons cannot be described as failure.

Kjetil Knutsen is a man that almost did the impossible in Europe this season and for the last two domestic years he has lifted the league trophy in Norway with Bodo Glimt.

Looking at the list of managers at present and after Sean Dyche left Burnley you have Jurgen and Pep on top with Frank, Hasenhuttl, Rodgers, Potter and Arteta behind, the next man in there is Thomas Tuchel who took over at Chelsea last season after the sacking of Frank Lampard.

Lampard recently took over at Everton, who on the other hand sacked Rafael Benitez after just a short half season in charge, as well as other clubs such as Watford, Norwich, Aston Villa and Man Utd all recently made their changes.

Burnley will soon appoint their new man, and hopefully it will again be long term. Sean Dyche will be a name that soon will be back in football management with a return to Watford or maybe Everton could be on the phone soon.
