Fabrizio Romano believe Liverpool are discussing a transfer fee with Bournemouth. Simultaneously, talks are underway with the Hungarian international over personal terms in a potential contract.
Kerkez has not exactly been discreet about his desire to move this summer. Back in March, he told The Athletic: “As a kid, you dream of playing at the highest level, winning trophies and being in the best teams… This summer we’ll see what happens.” There is no secret that the 21-year-old is keen on a move to Anfield. The star player has regularly hinted on a move in social media.
The exact transfer fee Bournemouth will receive for Kerkez is yet to be revealed. Likewise, his expected salary at Liverpool has not been disclosed. But both parts are expected to be easily clarified.
Transfer journalist Nicolò Schira has also made comments and revealed further details of the deal. He has claimed that Bournemouth want between £45m and £50m for Kerkez. He also believe that the Hungarian international is set to sign a five-year contract with Liverpool until 2030.
Kerkez has emerged as one of Bournemouth’s star players this season, making 39 appearances across all competitions. He joined the club from AZ Alkmaar in 2023 for £15.5 million, and has since attracted interest from clubs such as Manchester City, AC Milan and Napoli.
