At least that’s what the Turkish newspaper Sözcü thinks after Solskjær led Besiktas to their second straight victory in the Turkish series at the weekend.
Besiktas beat Trabzonspor 2-1, and the Norwegian is praised to the skies by both experts and his own players after a strong start to his stay at Besiktas.
With the arrival of Solskjær in Besiktas, the atmosphere in the team has changed completely. The Norwegian coach has had a positive effect on the team in a short time thanks to his energy and strong communication with the players, writes sports newspaper Fotomac.
In his first six matches as Besiktas coach, Solskjær has led the team to four wins, one draw and one loss. According to Turkish media, a lot has changed since the Norwegian entered the doors.

It is very clear, Besiktas has regained team spirit with Solskjær. The body language of the players, their desire to win and the effort they put in are the key to the victories, writes writer Güntekin Onay in the newspaper Hürriyet.
He believes the most important change Solskjær has made is the way he uses the player Joao Mario.
Onay believes the Portuguese has had another breakthrough after Solskjær changed his position. Solskjær use him as a deep playmaker and with his high technical quality, Joao Mario masters the role.
Besiktas player Milot Rashica has only good things to say about Solskjær. Our coach trusts everyone. Since his arrival, he and his team have reflected this positive energy to us. They show their full support every day, he says according to Fotomac.
The sports newspaper Fanatik is also very impressed by the Norwegian’s start, and they refer to the positive change as the “Solskjær effect”.
A writer in the same newspaper, Gökmen Özcan, is also aware that Solskjær has a problem he needs to sort out. That problem is star player Ciro Immobile.
Either Solskjær has to go, or Immobile has to go, writes Özcan in a comment in Fanatik.
He believes the Italian striker has not been able to adapt to Solskjær’s playing style, while at the same time he has struggled with scoring in front of goal in recent games.
However, Özcan has no doubts about which of the two he believes must go.
The decision that must be taken is already clear. A one-way ticket to Italy should be booked by the end of May without waiting too long, he writes, and is therefore referring to Immobile.
After the match against Trabzonspor, Solskjær himself was most concerned that there are still many things Besiktas can improve.
We must focus on being a stable team. We are good in some periods, and bad in some periods. We must be stable throughout the game. We have to learn to manage to become stable. We have new players. It will get even better, he said.
The next game for Solskjær and Besiktas is away to Eyupspor on Friday. They are in 4th place, two points ahead of Besiktas in the table.
