John Bond is a well known name in English football circles, he was the manager of Bournemouth when they, in 1970, decided to change their colours from red shirts, to the striped red and black. The iconic AC Milan colours, were changed after four seasons, again going back to red colours.
The final change back to red and black shirts came in 1994, mixing colours a bit around in red and black stripes, rectangles and other patterns, but ever since Lewis Cook joined The Cherries, it’s been that similar AC Milan look.
Lewis Cook (27), made his England debut as far back as 2018. Cook was called up by the senior team for the first time in November 2017 for a friendly against Brazil. He was again named in the England squad in March 2018 for pre 2018 FIFA World Cup friendlies against the Netherlands and Italy. He made his debut against the latter, on 27, March as a 71st-minute substitute in the 1–1 draw. On 16 May 2018, he was one of five players named on standby for the 23-man England national team squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
He has been with Bournemouth since 2016, and this club is soon to be seen as a phenomena, as their squad build and patience with certain players is a fantastic watch. Lewis Cook is soon to pass 200 league appearances for The Cherries, but it would have been so much more, hadn’t it been for a number of serious injury periods.
Lewis Cook has won the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup and 2018 Toulon Tournament with England

Lewis Cook joined Bournemouth for a fee said to be in the region of £6million. A major amount back in 2016, and showing one of many shrewd signings done by the south coast club.
So far this season the vice captain has played 10 league games, scored 1 goal. Bournemouth are 12th in Premier League. At this point above Man Utd in the table, as they are looking to build on their previous results, ending 12th last season. This is very impressive, and shows that the club is able to build stone by stone, picking up players from below and developing talent.
We do believe that further progress for Lewis Cook could soon see him landing another cap and leave that special group of “one game wonder’s”. He has represented England on all levels from U.16 and up, with a total of 57 caps for those teams.
