Liverpool waited into the last days of the transfer window to add to their squad, adding two very interesting players to their group, Giorgi Mamardashvili, coming in from Valencia, £29m, and Federico Chiesa – £12.5m, Juventus. The Georgia goalkeeper will not be moving until the summer of 2025.
Crystal Palace also made a move for Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah close to the deadline, hopefully adding more quality to a team that has lost some of their best players during the summer.
