Last season playing 43 league games for Southampton in their promotion campaign back to Premier League. Possibly a major disappointment for the England international to have to take the step down one tier for a season, but still a huge lift to get back up again winning in play-off’s vs. Leeds.

Still only 27 year’s old and of course one man that will be looked at by the bigger and better, but has stayed at Southampton ever since joining in 2021 from Spurs, for a fee of £12million, first being a season on loan before the agreement was made.

This summer a lot of transfers has happened and daily rumours are flying and also on Kyle Walker-Peters, but we believe he will continue his life at Southampton.

He operates on the left back but is left footed, being seen as a versitale and also being able to play with both feet, but still not recognized by Gareth Southgate for England duty in the Euro’s this summer, playing Kieran Trippier in the absence of Luke Shaw.

Kyle Walker-Peters featured in the last pre-season friendly vs. Getafe. The game ended 0-0, Walker-Peters leaving the field after 61 minutes. He will certainly be in contention for a starting position in the Premier League opener vs. Newcastle.

Southampton are favourites to go down, but we do believe if that happens that Kyler Walker-Peters will remain at the highest level, being priced to the level of £30million at the lowest, his contract is running out in the summer, as he has been reluctant to pen a new deal at the club.
