England are through to the knock out rounds of Euro 2024, as their squad depth could be a key and very vital in the games coming up. Other squads are not at all as strong as England. This could be the major change in fortunes for England.
One player that we have not seen much of so far is Cole Palmer. A player in form and one massive positive for Chelsea last season.
Gareth Southgate do have a number of players to call on and can change the look of his team, Anthony Gordon and Cole Palmer are two players who can bring new dimentions to it all.
So far we have seen little or nothing to Cole Palmer in the Euro 2024, only given 19 minutes of play by Gareth Southgate, coming on in the 0-0 draw vs. Slovenia. Last season he played 33 Premier League games for Chelsea, scoring 22 goals.
England pundits and fans demands a certain quality from their national team, and even if the team has in a way cruised through to the knock out rounds of the Euro 2024, they are certainly not satisfied with the outcome so far.
Gareth Southgate defends his decision making, overlooking Cole Palmer, who has been called on by many to be the man to change the fortunes for England as everyone would like to see them fly, so far a bit flat and not as attacking as we would like to see them as action continues in this tournmant.
