David Beckham has been seen in Scandinavia recently. His intention of everything was clearly major positives and his visit to Sven Goran Eriksson shows everyone what a wonderfull human being David Beckham is.

We all know how difficult everything is for the former England manager, and of course earlier in the year being able to visit Anfield and coach the “Liverpool Legends”. This time around, David Beckham turned up on his doorstep, to show his gratitude, visiting Svennis at his home.

We had no idea that when David Beckham left Svennis and travelled on, that he would turn up in Lærdal, Norway, to fish salmon. This is not allowed at the moment, without a special license, and also not possible to do, using a fishing pole. The visit is heavily discussed in Norwegian media, regarding the fact that this looked illegal as well as being a massive surprise to see the former Man Utd legend in such a place.

Norwegian media chased this rumour, all of it hot news as the national press turned up, to find out if this was in real, David Beckham. Norwegian newspaper VG gave it a good coverage as it became a major talking point.

This is not the first time David Beckham has gone fishing, looking to be a keen fisherman, in the past being seen in Iceland for the same reasons.

To get his chance to fish in “Kongeelven” it’s said David Beckham had to pay an amount in the region of £125.000. “Kongeelven”, in English, King River, is a commen place for celebrities with Norwegian King Harald also being among those gone fishing here in the past.

Journalist, Arve Uglum, wrote a special in the local newspaper, saying: «For more than 100 years royal visitors and other celebrities comes to Lærdal to fish, the locals are thought to leave them alone, the opposite would be seen as bad behaviour»
