Gabriel for Arsenal and Brazil as his career makes new climb with an exciting and special rise to the occasion

Gabriel for fans of Arsenal, and all of the other football family, but his full name is Gabriel dos Santos Magalhës, joining from Lille in 2020. He learned his trade at Lille, being able to compete in Champions Leauge action, something is of high value when entering the world of Premier League.

The tall defender was signed by Arsenal to fill gaps in the back line as they had seen a number of players leaving coming to a certain age. Gabriel’s impact was instant and he won the clubs player of the month award in September 2020, after great performances, one of the vs. Fulham scoring in the 3-0 win.

Arsenal are in a better place at the moment than a few years back, but still players such as Granit Xhaka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, David Luiz, Alexandre Lacazette and Emiliano Martinez are players not easy to replace, all of them in the line-up when Arsenal won the 2020 FA Cup in Mikel Arteta’s first season.

Gabriel is to date 26 years of age and among the players that must be seen as senior’s in a very young squad being captained by a younger player, Martin Odegaard, as they need to gell for probably one or two more seasons to be the team to count for back to back titles.

To get a place in the Celecao is not easy, with so many stars to pick from and with a massive flower bed of talent constantly coming ot of the academies in Brazil. Gabriel made his full international debut this year, so he has waited petiantly, previously being capped at u.20 and u.23 level.

Arsenal is the place to be for progress, playing Champions League football this season and being at a club that could lift trophies in the future, Gabriel will most certainly add to his 6 caps and 1 goal on duty for Brazil.
