Ivan Toney looks to a move this January, with Brentford ready to give their massive man up front a chance to leave, if the offer is acceptable. Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle are all clubs said to be among chasers. On 17 May this year, Toney’s 22/23 season was ended prematurely after playing 33 league matches and scoring 20 goals, as he received an eight month ban from football from the FA for numerous breaches of their player betting rules.

Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo is said to be leaving the club in the summer. This will of course be a blow for manager Marco Silva, looking at the former Man City man as an important player in his squad. This should allert a number of clubs as the 26 year old former England u.19 international could be one solid signing for free.

Sporting defender Goncalo Inacio is a target for Arsenal, according to a recent report. Liverpool and Man Utd are both reported to be among the clubs to have an interest. The 22 year old centre back with 2 goals in 5 internationals for Portugal, is a player we will hear more about going forward.

Dominic Solanke has shone for Bournemouth this season, something that has triggered interest. Tottenham is said to be ready to make an offer for him, but we believe it will be no change this January, seeing this as a possible happening in the summer.

Wolves forward Fabio Silva is said to be a target for both Celtic and Rangers. The 21 year old has not been in full bloom at Molineux, with loan spells at Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven in latter seasons. A move north could be a good fit for Silva, to get his career on track.

Manchester United are reportedly on the lookout for a ‘low-cost’ striker and right-sided centre-back in the New Year. Timo Werner is said to be on the wish list, with the German international and former Chelsea forward probably keen on a new chance to show his talent at Premier League level. Edmond Tapsoba is said to be top of Erik ten Hag’s wish list, playing at his best for Bayer Leverkusen this season. Two players that could do the opposite and leave Old Trafford are midfielder Casemiro, being linked with a move to Saudi, and Raphael Varane lined up for a shock return to Real Madrid.

Sacked Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper will be a candidate for a quick return to the Premier League management ranks as Crystal Palace see him as a potential replacement for Roy Hodgson at the end of the season.
