Ronaldo is back at Old Trafford in a sensational switch that no one really believed would happen. A move to Man City was on the line, but instead he is back in red.

A fee of €20million is what it took to bring the 36 year old back to the club he left in 2009. Cristiano Ronaldo played 196 league games and scored 85 goals in his previous period at the club, winning the Premier League titles, FA Cup and EFL Cup trophies as well. Also of course a Champions League winner in 2008.

OGS and Cristiano Ronaldo both appeared in the 2004 FA Cup final celebrating a new trophy for their cabinet, and this was the end close to the end of OGS era as a player and the beginning for Ronaldo.

We all know the impact Ronaldo had at Real Madrid and his presence showed how much he had to say for their fantastic run, he also had a great few seasons at Juventus before making the sensational switch.

Of course great and fantastic to see such a player back in the Premier League and hopefully this could give extra boost to the campaign. To see Varane and Ronaldo both coming in shows that it could be a chance of a trophy this season with these two players signed you should be closer to that happening.

Manchester United and OGS have not managed to find that top forward and also struggled a bit in the defence, but with these two signings shows that The Glazers are eager to get this club back at the very top and that they have confidence in OGS to make that happen.

Anyway this season looks more exciting than ever and also unpredictable.
