The highly experienced Benitez is available and would be a in style with former Chelsea appointments who are likely to go for this option instead of trying to lure away some other fellow. Celtic, Roma and Napoli also considering Benitez.

Declan Rice could be available for £50million in the summer as West Ham are strapped for cash and need to improve other areas in their team. Arsenal, Man City, Everton and Chelsea are just four clubs said to be in the chase, Man Utd are also likely to be looking at that option if it becomes available.

Paul Pogba looks calm about his situation at the moment and no one believe he will be on any form of move this January. In the summer the situation could be different as PSG and Real Madrid both are mentioned as new destinations. Danny Ings has not yet decided if he wants to stay at Southampton. The 28 year old forward has been in great form for Saints this campaign, but he needs to think hard and carefully about either staying at St. Mary’s for the rest of his best years or move somewhere else with Leicester, Spurs and Everton both being interested in a move, but it will of course not be anything that will happen this January.

Christian Eriksen has been linked with Leicester and a possible move back to PL action might happen if Inter can pay some of Eriksson’s vages if he moves on, but it will not be more than a loan for the rest of the season. Leicester have made it clear they will not pay the full salary as it will upset the balance at the club regarding wages.

Demarai Gray could be on his way to Crystal Palace as they are the latest to be linked. Bayer Leverkusen, Newcastle and Leeds are other clubs who have shown a recent interest in the player that will be available for as little as £2million.

Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori has completed his loan switch to AC Milan as the situation at Chelsea was a bit on a blind path. After the signing for Thiago Silva, Tomori was pushed further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and now he might be in line for more first team action joining the top club in Serie A.

Ahmed Musa, previously with Leicester City, is a top target for Sam Allardyce and West Bromwich Albion as they are fighting for their lives in the bottom of the PL table. The race for safety is the task Big Sam is out to solve as he consider the Nigerian international in his chase.

Martin Ødegaard will not join Arsenal if his first team chances are limited, few understand why Arsenal consider him as an option to solve a current problem as he has little or no action recently and Real Madrid might be more interested in keeping him as an option and not just push him out on loan again.

Adam Traore could be the big signing of the January transfer window, as a number of clubs are interested in the Spanish international. Traore will not be moving for less than £50million as Wolves would love to cash in big if a move is to be happening.

Arsenal released their defender Sokratis this week, and the Greek international will be on the move and believed to accept an offer from Lazio. The 32 year Sokratis joined The Gunners from Borussia Dortmund back in 2018, but has struggled with injuries a bit and fallen out of the first team frame under Mikel Arteta.

Brendon Williams is no longer considered a first team option at Man Utd, with both Shaw and Telles available to fill the left back position, with Newcastle and West Ham both said to be eager to bring in the highly talented youngster on loan.

West Ham are said to be working hard to get the move of Josh King from Bournemouth over the line before the transfer window shut, but every attempt of such a move could be hijacked by Burnley who could be lucky in their chase as the Norwegian international might be more wanted as a clear first team alternative at Turf Moor.

Eddie Howe is at the moment seen as the best candidate to take over at Newcastle or Celtic, but if Brendan Rodgers decides to jump ship at Leicester City, with a certain release clause in his contract, and join Chelsea, Howe could be the one fitting the bill, with also Rafael Benitez being a certain candidate for the Leicester City job if it becomes vacant. Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl is also one that fits the bill perfectly. The German could be one in the picture at a number of clubs as his work at St. Mary’s is noticed and admired by many.

Leroy Sanè is said to be on his way out of Bayern Munich, despite Karl Heinz Rummenigge saying the opposite. His £55million move from Man City has not worked as well as you would expected with only a short number of starts so far. A return to PL or a move to Spain or Italy could be on, and of course loan options to consider as form drops heavily without regular first team action.
