Christian Pulisic joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2019. His time at Chelsea became a bit of a mix, not really able to cement a place in the team and playing under a number of different managers, counting Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and Frank Lampard.
He was a major transfer for Chelsea in move worth $73 million. He was a young man, 21 years of age, when joining The Blues, and not really given the trust needed, as well as picking up several injuries.
This summer Pulisic made the switch to Serie A and moved to AC Milan. So far 6 goals in 17 league games and also appearing 6 times in the Champions League. AC Milan are currently 3rd in Serie A and ended 3rd in their CL group, losing out on further play on goal difference to PSG. AC Milan and Pulisic will be competing further in Europa League, playing French club Rennes in the first knock out round.
Plusic at his best and injury free is one massive player, as his pace and goalscoring skills as well as fotball vision makes him lethal and dangerous.
He has teamed up with former teammates from his time at Chelsea, playing alongside Olivier Giroud and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. So far it all looks a good fit and hopefully a good move long term for the US international with 64 caps and 28 goals scored.
Still a lot to play for, but to be a player at AC Milan you need to perform, luckily Christian Pulisic is seen as the bright spot in a season that looks a bit difficult, but still in reach of a major European title as well as being top three, so if they can work their way to a final or even a win in Europa League and also being in that 3rd spot when the season finishes, it will hopefully be a good ending to the story.
