The name Sebastien Haller is today special and belongs to a notorious goalscorer playing for Ajax. He has at the age of 27 really been in excellent form for the Amsterdam based Dutch top club.

Haller was signed by Ajax from West Ham for a major fee of £18.8million and despite not coming with the best of reputations from his time with The Hammers he has really shone in Dutch and European football.

Ajax did also lure away Dusan Tadic from Premier League and the duo are phenomanel for their club and are securing a grand season of games as they will compete at Champions League level, something not always possible playing for a club in Premier League.

Looking at the stats of Sebastien Haller he scored 10 goals in 48 games for West Ham, and has since arriving in Amsterdam scored 20 in 32 for Ajax. Haller has impressed most recently in Champions League action and shown great goalscoring form, 10 goals so far from 6 games, which of course grabs headlines.

Sebastien Haller joined West Ham from Eintracht Frankfurt and had before his time in Germany spells at Utrecht and Auxerre. Looking at his stats from his previous clubs you will not be surprised about the type of goal ratio he is on at the moment, he is a grand goalscorer.

Premier League is difficult and of course returning would probably see Haller as a better player, but again all the teams in Premier League do have a number of forward options and to play regular and steady in a top team is not for everyone.

Haller who has been playing up to U.21 level for France, did skip a possible full international debut for his country by instead deciding in 2020 to play for Ivory Coast. He had 13 goals in 20 outings for France U.21 and things have started with respet for the Ivory Coast as well, hitting 3 in 8.

It will be exciting to follow the progress as the season continues with Ajax currently staying top of the Eresdivisie and winners of their Champions League group.

Would not surprise anyone if the cabinet of Ajax will be filled a couple of new trophies after this season and will of course be scouting for their results.
