He is in his prime as a footballer at the age of 28, and no one doubts his talent, but so far it’s been a race of riot as he often slips into odd situations and most places becomes a problem and not really able to settle at any place.

After leaving Manchester United, where he never entered the field in a league match, West Ham signed him up and Sam Allardyce believed he would add the quality to a squad that really needed just that, early on he made his debut.

During his three years at West Ham he made a number of loan moves out to clubs such as Birmingham, QPR and Cardiff and adding up more than 60 appearances in all. Then a chance to move abroad and join Lazio appeared, but again failed to settle in and loan moves back to QPR and to Mexican club Atlas was next on his road to become a settled footballer.

When you believed that he might make the break in a bigger league, he decides to join Swedish club Ostersund, but after just six appearances decides to take another route again, this time to sign for Sheffield United. What Chris Wilder thoughts was with this transfer, who knows as Ravel just make one single PL appearance, getting a brief loan chance at Middlesbrough, before again moving on.

Dutch club ADO den Haag is his next club signing a one year contract, but after just two starts and a few more appearances as sub the two parties decided to split up with a contract termination happening a few weeks ago.

Private matters have probably overshadowed the life of Ravel Morrison as his talent is given great praise, but never really able to settle, so far adding up just over 100 league appearances since his debut back in 2012.

The former youth team mate of Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba at Manchester United, is now out looking for a new club, but will he settle down and be patient and get the a new chance at the right place and in the correct surroundings being able to cement a certain first team place somewhere.

Morrison has also represented England at several levels from U.17 to U.21, but decided to change his routes and in 2020 making a full international debut for Jamaica, and so far played twice in his new home country.

We will see where the next step will be and hopefully this time making the best decision and being able to settle in, we just have to wait and see what will happen next.
