When Jamie Vardy “had his last PL winning party”, back in 2015/16 he did knock a few records down “the boots”. His finishing and pace is well known, his “love affair” with Leicester City is in continuing process and he is a “fairy prince”.

The fact that Gareth Southgate never decided to give Jamie Vardy a real chance to play to his strengths in the England line-up ended his relationship with “Three Lions”, with GS ignoring Vardy’s qualities and instead probably jeopardize a chance to win World Cup’s and Nations League finals.

Vardy is a real cult figure and go on as long as he wish, with his pace still in tact and ability to run out defenders and be at the right place at the right time and hammering in goals as no other players are doing at the moment.

England has seen players retire a bit too early, as the Alan Shearer’s, Kevin Keegan’s and Paul Scholes’s all decided to pull the plug on managers not really fancying there special skills and not really playing a style of football suited to get the best out of them and at the same time giving other players more confidence, and they instead flourished on in club football.

Watching Jamie Vardy this season is just phenomenal entertainment and as he screws the heads of almost every pundit in the game, goals are just pouring in as raindrops falling, and could this just continue into eternity. He has as many PL goals as games so far, and he is starting to find those “special combinations” and “clicking” with team mates in a way he did with Danny Drinkwater and Riyad Mahrez in the past.

Youri Tielemans is the “mastermind” these days and he has given Jamie Vardy back his special touch with clever passing and movement. Kelechi Iheanacho, Harvey Barnes, Ayoze Perez and Ben Chilwell are of course also there to assist as Vardy finds the net.

Leicester City will go into the Christmas period with some exciting games coming up, Norwich first at home, then a quarter final in the Carabao Cup v. Everton, then a key fixture against Liverpool will be a top thriller and we all know what Jamie Vardy can do against top opposition being too brave!
