Man Utd has a new goalkeeper signed. Andrè Onana leaves Inter and has signed a five year deal. Erik ten Hag will join up with is former player at Ajax. Onana comes in for a fee in the region £45million. He will be the solution and direct replacement of David De Gea who left Man Utd this summer, realeased after his contract ended.

Another goalkeeper, England U.21 inernational James Trafford, has agreed to join Burnley from Man City. This could be a massive signing for The Clarets said to have paid £15million for his services.

Transfers so far, 17th July 23, Premier League and Championship clubs update with all the moves of first team players

Arsenal are again the talk of the town with their recent transfer news regarding Declan Rice. This is what everyone believe the move that will see them improve from last season and see their goal of a new Premier League title going through.

Rice comes to Arsenal as a proven winner, taking home the Europa Conference title with West Ham last season, and of course being a major man for Gareth Southgate and England.

English football transfer history, major moves, 1972/73, Frank Worthington, David Nish and Peter Cormack

David Nish became the most expensive player in English football ever, when he moved from Leicester to Derby just weeks after the season kick off. The fee of £225.000 came to good use as Frank Worthington and Dennis Rofe became two additions at Leicester, being part of an iconic setting at Filbert Street.

Mike Bernard made his switch from League Cup winner Stoke to join Everton, at the time also signing Joe Harper from Aberdeen. Two major moves, Bernard joining for a fee of £140.000, while Harper had an even higher price tag at £180.000.
