Bio:

Ian Gillard started out at Tottenham Hotspur in the youth ranks before moving to West London and QPR where he made his debut in November 1968.

Over the next fourteen years he made the left-back position virtually his own forming a formidable full-back partnership with Dave Clement for many seasons. He was an integral member of the 1975–76 team that almost won the First Division title, eventually finishing as runners-up to Liverpool.

Focus On; Arthur Graham

Bio:

After a short spell in the Junior grade with Cambuslang Rangers, in early 1970 he was signed by Aberdeen whose scout Bobby Calder offered generous terms to persuade him to move north with Celtic also showing interest. He played in five league matches during his first season with the club, and despite his inexperience, he was given a place in the starting line-up for the 1970 Scottish Cup Final by manager Eddie Turnbull.

Aberdeen defeated Celtic 3–1 with 17-year-old Graham making two assists via left-wing crosses. He remained at Aberdeen until July 1977, winning the Scottish League Cup in his final season (again beating Celtic in the final). He played a total of 298 matches for The Dons, scoring 45 goals.

Admiral among former greats but still supplier of football kits as they move forward with interesting shirt projects

With unique design and some of the most famous football clubs on earth Admiral made revuloution in kit design in the mid 70’s. The company based in Wigston, Leicester, did the outmost of their approach as kits no longer had little or no other function than to seperate the two teams from each other.

The use of badges and brand logo made it very special as other competitors such as Adidas, Puma and Umbro also lifted their approach and made new designs.
