Erling Braut Haaland is the best striker in the World and looks ready to destroy any team

Former Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna has hailed Erling Braut Haaland as “the best striker in the World” and claims that his old side are “ready to destroy any team” now that they have the Norwegian leading the line.

City landed Haaland from Borussia Dortmund this summer and the striker has hit the ground running in 2022-23, scoring 19 times in just twelve games between the Premier League and Champions League so far.

Manchester City are off to a flying start this season and have already imposed their dominance on the Premier League – mostly due to the dynamic duo of Kevin De Bruyne and newcomer Erling Haaland. 

Haaland has already scored over 10 goals this season and look on course to smash Mohammed Salah’s record of 32 goals in a 38-game season. Kevin De Bruyne is doing what he does best and is cementing his reputation as one of the best players ever to grace the English Premier League.

David Beckham charmed the public by queuing for 12 hours to witness the lying-in-state of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Proving that he’s just as in-touch with society as common folk, the former England captain was happy to brush off any special treatment as he made the special pilgrimage to see the Queen.

Since retiring as a player in 2013, Beckham has gone on to become one of football’s most famous ambassadors – founding Inter Miami and developing young players. Though not many players could match him for talent, the up-and-comers can at least learn from his grace and sense of pride.
