Sammy McIlroy will for always be remembered for his time at Old Trafford and of course his FA Cup winners medal from 1977. He was also in the runners-up teams in 1976 and 1979.

From his debut in 1971 vs. Man City scoring in the 3-3 draw to eleven years later being sold to Stoke for a fee of £350.000. He also played in two World Cup tournemants with Northern Ireland.

When English third division club Aston Villa made “cricketer” Jim Cumbes the third most expensive goalkeeper in the World

Jimmy Cumbes was a goalkeeper in English football during the 60’s and 70’s and also played professional in the NASL for Portland Timbers. One special talent and athlete that combined top level cricket and football during his career.

He progressed from the non-league schene and in to EFL action in the early 60’s as he first joined Tranmere Rovers and later moved to West Bromwich, and as he said himself, made it to the top.

Antonio Rudiger close to Chelsea exit as transfer guru believe Real Madrid will announce move in the next coming days

Chelsea will next season be without one of their top players as Antonio Rudiger will leave and a new deal is said to be agreed with Real Madrid.

The former Roma and Stuttgart defender looks to be happy to leave London after great success while at Stamford Bridge, moving there in 2017.
