Bio:

Cyle Christopher Larin, born April 17, 1995, is a Canadian soccer player who plays as a striker or left winger for Mallorca in the Segunda División and the Canada national team. He will join Southampton in the EFL Championship on June 15, 2026.

After playing soccer at UConn, Larin was the first pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft and joined Orlando City. In his rookie season, he scored 17 goals in 27 games, breaking the record for most goals by a rookie and winning the MLS Rookie of the Year Award.

Sky Sports believe, Real Madrid are interested in Arsenal and Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori. He previously played under Jose Mourinho at Roma.

According to GMS, Tottenham are considering a move for Juventus and Brazil defender Gleison Bremer. This is to replace 28-year-old Argentina international Cristian Romero in central defence.

Manchester United are not interested in signing Romero from Tottenham but are interested in Newcastle’s versatile 21-year-old English defender Lewis Hall. This is according to a report from TeamTalk.

Top 10 Women’s World Club Soccer Teams and Who to Follow in 2026/27

The women game will forever become an important part of soccer on all continents. Barcelona is considered the most popular team in Europe, winning Champions League this year as well as the domestic league in Spain. The official record attendance for a women’s football match was set at Camp Nou on 22 April 2022, with 91,648 people watching Barcelona defeat Wolfsburg 5–1.

The WSL in England is also attracting huge crowds on their major top games. Arsenal Women averaged an incredible 34,677 fans across their 10 league games at the Emirates. To put that into perspective, that attendance would rank them 13th highest in all of English football, outdrawing eight current men’s Premier League teams. The biggest club in London.

When certain teams are allowed to play in the major stadium, crowds increase heavily, and shows that facilities are often a major reason for crowds as different stadiums used in the women game are smaller.
