Villarreal CF experienced some fantastic moments throughout the 2024/25 season. The Yellows picked up memorable victories. They celebrated goals that will live long.

On August the 26th, In the 100th minute, Villarreal snatched victory over Celta (4-3) at the Estadio de la Cerámica. Dani Parejo scored a last-gasp winner to settle a seven-goal thriller. Sergi Cardona, Thierno Barry, and a Jailson own goal were on target for the Yellows. Parejo also scored for them. Borja Iglesias, Mingueza, and Starfelt scored for the visitors.

Exploring Didi’s Impact on Brazilian Football History

Waldyr Pereira, also known as Didi, was a special and iconic Brazilian footballer. He played in three FIFA World Cups, 1954, 1958, and 1962. Winning the latter two.

Very elegant and technically skilled. Didi was also renowned for his fantastic passing and stamina. He was a free-kick specialist. Being famous for inventing the folha seca (dry leaf) dead ball free kicks. Notably used by modern-day players such as Juninho and Cristiano Ronaldo. The ball would swerve downward unexpectedly at a point resulting in a goal.

James Milner on 40: The Premier League’s Timeless Icon

James Milner has extended his deal with Brighton. He will turn 40 in January, being among the greatest veterans ever to play in top flight football. His tally of England caps stopped at 61, playing his last 9 years ago.

He has Premier League winners medals with Man City and Liverpool. Milner joined Brighton in 2023, and to date he has played 19 PL games for The Seagulls.
