The final of the FA Cup became a tight affair as expected. Chelsea and Liverpool were also up against each other in the EFL Cup and it all went to penalties again as the game in itself had it’s chances but ended in a 0-0 affair.

Liverpool were more or less as expected with their line-up. Chelsea not really as we would expected and changes were done to get the structure correct as the two teams fought on for 90 minutes and extra time.

Chelsea was back in the final they lost last season to Leicester and Liverpool had not won the FA Cup since 2006 as their hunger were in there all day long.

Jordan Henderson is not alway credited with the respect he deserves the same to be said about James Milner who had his special day out there being a previous winner of this cup also with Man City. Henderson made history as he lifted his 6th trophy as captain.

Kostas Tsimikas became the key man as he came on as a sub for Andy Robertson and took to final penalty that decided the outcome and a 6-5 win in the end for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp has made his unit stronger and stronger season by season and will go all in to the very last to try to grab the two other trophies possible with Champions League probably being closer than winning Premier League.

Man City are in front but we do have to wait until next Sunday to see who will be lift the PL torphy, Pep or Klopp. Never miss out on our FA Cup update, fresh and newly made.
