Looking at the stats from Joe Willock’s loan spell at Newcastle last season, you can just see how this player will progress in the Premier League after his permanent move was confirmed this week.

Willock (21) is one of the young English talent coming out of the gates at The Emirates, being sold out to a new and different club, and the will be lucky with their £25million signing.

Steve Bruce knows the game inside out and why he can have use of Willock and not Arteta is a bit strange, but at Arsenal they do not lack talent, they have that in tons, but they have a squad balance problem.

Joe Willock was always seen as a big talent and most fans and followers did believe that the player would have taken the full step, but instead he will now play for Newcastle and a bit like Jesse Lingard at West Ham being getting that chance he needs to establish himself as one of the great young talents of English football.

During his four years in the Arsenal first team frame he added up 40 PL appearances and scoring one single goal. For Newcastle during his loan spell, in 14 appearances he scored 8. Surely this player have a presence that you cannot ignore, and why Mikel Arteta has overlooked that power in this player is a bit strange.

We will just have to wait and see what Joe Willock brings to the table, but at least Steve Bruce knows how to get the best out of him that has already been seen.
