Maroane Fellaini looks finished at Old Trafford and will join Chinese club Shandong Luneng before the January transfer window close.
He has not been part of the first team plans during the time Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been with the club.
To see a move coming was not a shock for anyone and the former Everton player who joined back in the summer of 2013. He has since joining played 119 league games and scored 12 goals.
Another player who could be out the door is Antonio Valencia, rumored to be in close range of Claudio Ranieri at Fulham. Valencia has not either featured much since the new man came in and looks a bit in the shadows.
The change of a younger line of players was something everyone would be like to see and that a 31 year old (Fellaini) and a 33 year old (Valencia) are on the way out is not really a surprise.
Ashley Young is another experienced player, but he looks certain to be part of Soslkjaer plans, at least out the season. Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez are not eager to stay on if they are regarded as bench material and not playing regularly.
What we have seen from Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford tells the story and it’s easy to see that those two players will be the once being kept together with other youngsters and unique players in Martial and Pogba as great assets in this approach.
