Moyes appointed manager at West Ham, another strange change

DATE: 07.11.2017 - SOCCERVOICE - NEWS - SEASON 2017-18

David Moyes is the ideal man to replace Slaven Bilic, who thinks that is a good idea. Are managers really needed at football clubs ?

David Moyes will be the next manager at West Ham and who in their best mind would see that as a good decission. Slaven Bilic is a much better alternative 99 out 100. He is simply a better manager, his track record the last three seasons tells us that story.

The problem here is not David Moyes, but owners who use managers as garbage and throwes them around like clowns in a circus. To see top clubs just rotate managers as cars coming out of factories is a shame and should be stopped.

The problem with this type of policy is that you destroy the idea of how football should be build and how clubs should be ran. What you tell the next generation of people growing up is that sacking a manager is what you must do to get a better result.

Crystal Palace sacked De Boer, Leicester sacked Shakespeare, Everton sacked Koeman and West Ham sacked Bilic. Hodgson is the new man in at Palace, Puel at Southampton and Moyes at West Ham.

Everton has not yet appointed a new man with David Unsworth in temporary charge.

Puel was sacked by Southampton, Hodgson left his position as England manager and Moyes was sacked by Sunderland. De Boer before he was appointed at Palace had just after a few months lost his job at Inter.

The problem with all of this is that the clubs are not ran as modern businesses, and with all the money involved, why on earth would anyone give the men in charge all the money in the World to buy the wrong players.

Injuries, yellow and red cards are of course a reason for bad results, not suddenly a manager that makes a lot of strange mistakes. This is really destroying football and long term it will be a mess that will be difficult to solve.

The belief in a change is so powerfull that the change in itself is at the moment the only thing you can do to get your club out of problems, what a lot of bollocks. The world has not come any further in the last 300 years. Change of management is not the way forward.
