Everton, Burnley and Man Utd
confirm transfers

DATE: 11.07.2016 - SOCCERVOICE - NEWS - SEASON 2016-17

More and more clubs confirm transfers as July goes by and the transfer window is still very much open

Burnley adds quality to their squad day by day, the recent new recruit is Jack Cork who came from Swansea for a fee of 10 million. This shows how much the fees has inflated lately with a club on the size of Burnley can spend 10 million on a player.

Wayne Rooney is back where it all started at Everton. After a long life at Manchester United it was clear during last season that Rooney no longer was part of the long term plans at Old Trafford. A two year deal is what counts now for Rooney back at Goodison.

Jamez Rodrigues who lost his first team place at Real Madrid will play for Bayern Munich in the next two seasons. Rodriguez was linked with both Manchester clubs, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea, but Bayern became his option.

Ron-Robert Zieler is confirmed at Stuttgart. Leicester City agreed to let the player leave after only one season with the foxes. He was not happy to just be number two after Kasper Schmeichel. Stuttgart paid a fee believed to be 3.5 million.

Marseille has taken back goalkeeper Steven Mandanda who spent last season at Crystal Palace. The 35 year old goalkeeper joined Palace from Marseille on a free and returns back in the same manner.

Romelu Lukaku is finally on board at Manchester United. A fee of 75 million was what it took to get the player to move from Everton. It will be interesting to see how the Belgian international will adapt to life at Old Trafford.

Chelsea confirm the signing of Antonio Rudiger from Roma. The fee is one undisclosed, but it will be interesting to see how the German international will adapt to a three men defence. Rudiger previously played for Stuttgart.

Watford have made two new signings in Portsmouth's Harvey Bradbury and West Ham's Sam Howe. They are two youngsters that will be part of the U.23 set up at the club, and hopefully graduate from the system.

Mathias Jorgensen and Jonathan Walters are other players to have made moves recently. Jorgensen is a new record signing for Huddersfield. Walters will add striking power to the Burnley forward line and be a great asset at Turf Moor.
