Jurgen Klopp is not finished shopping this summer, with Southampton
defender Virgil Van Dijk a super target
Everton are in the hunt for several players after landing Wayne
Rooney. Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud is still one of his main
targets, and the chase for Gylfi Sigurdsson will continue, with
Swansea reported to be interested to sell at £ 45 million.
Inter winger Ivar Pericic could be joining Man Utd if the two clubs
can agree on the transfer fee, believed to be £ 50 million. The
Croatian international is one that could replace Anthony Martial who
are in the eye of AS Roma.
Leicester looks likely to sign Man City forward Kelechi Iheanacho,
but there are rumours today that could set the move in doubt.
Tottenham are reported to be willing to take the Nigerian
international to North London in a deal that could see Kyle Walker
moving the opposite way.
Birmingham City are suddenly on the newspapers lips with Harry
Redknapp in charge. He will do what he can to make The Blues a
promotion candidate and juggle around in the transfer market, latest
player to be linked is Aston Villa defender Tommy Elphick.
Tottenham could be willing to let young midfielder Kevin Wimmer. The
24 year old Austria international has not been a regular at Spurs
since joining from Koln in 2015. A return to Bundesliga or a life in
Spanish football could be next for Wimmer.
Marco Arnautovic is a target for West Ham. The 28 year old forward
handed in a transfer request at Stoke, which has allerted Hammers
who could make a bid for the Austria international.
Aston Villa looks close to an agreement with their former "loanee",
goalkeeper, Sam Johnstone. Johnstone (24) is on the books at
Manchester United, but the England U.20 international looks far down
the pecking order at Old Trafford and Villa Park looks more suitable.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger looks certain to keep both Alex
Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alexis Sanchez. They are also at the moment
chasing midfield "wonderkid" Aymen Barkok. Barkok (19) has only
played five league games, but in those five scored twice.
Manchester United were favourites to sign Alvaro Morata, but with
the Lukaku move sealed, it looks more likely that Morata, if moving,
will be heading for Chelsea and a life at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea
on the other hand are willing to let Diego Costa leave.
