Huddersfield, West Bromwich and Aston Villa confirm signings

DATE: 05.07.2016 - SOCCERVOICE - NEWS - SEASON 2016-17

The transfer window is open and a number of Premier League clubs confirms new transfers, exciting summer

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce is a happy man after signing John Terry from Chelsea. Terry (36) had a number of offers and he was clear he wouldn't like to play Chelsea, so to go down a division was ok, when everything was settled.

Harry Redknapp saved Birmingham from relegation and now he is preparing a push for promotion. Goalkeeper David Stockdale is in from Brighton and also the talented defender Marc Roberts. Redknapp says he is not finished with signings and believe 4 or 5 more will be brought in.

Huddersfield confirms the signing of Tom Ince from Derby, which is one of the players with a Premier League potential. He has earlier played for Blackpool, Hull and Liverpool, and also had loan spells at Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Derby.

Fabio Borini is leaving Sunderland and will play for AC Milan next season. This is a loan move and might be good for both clubs and the player. Jermain Defoe has also left and joined Bournemouth on a free transfer.

West Bromwich confirms the transfer of Jay Rodrigues. Southampton said yes to a 12 million offer, for a player with a difficult past and an injury list that probably would scare a number of potential clubs. But Rodriguez at his best is worth this money.

Chelsea will replace Asmir Begovic with 35 year old Willy Cabellero. The Argentinian joined Man City in 2014 from Malage, played 23 league games before his move to Stamford Bridge.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe went back to Chelsea and signed Nathan Ake. The Dutch star spent a period on loan with The Cherries last season, and this will be a great addition for the south coast club.

Jan Bednarek is the latest player to be signed by Southampton. The Poland U.21 international joined from Lech Poznan and looks like a great prospect. This is a very exciting signing and a new sign that Saints are finding gold where others don't look.

Henry Onyekuru joined Everton from KAS Eupen, but as soon as he had signed the contract a loan move to Anderlecht was agreed. The 20 year old Nigerian international is a bit of a goal scoring sensation at his former club, and a chance to shine for Anderlecht is exciting.
