Watford, Liverpool and Bournemouth confirm deals, all the latest transfers

DATE: 30.06.2016 - SOCCERVOICE - NEWS - SEASON 2016-17

We are still in June and the start of transfers this summer will probably not flourish until we se the month of July, but some new transfers happens

Liverpool confirmed the signing of Mohamed Salah, and the Roma forward is one that hopefully will give The Reds more depth in their squad. He never managed to convince anyone at Chelsea that he would be a good Premier League player, maybe it will be different this time.

Burton Albion manged to survive in the Championship, which in a way is phenomenal. They gone out and broken their transfer record with the signing of N Ireland international Liam Boyce from Ross County. A fee of 500 000 was agreed for the 26 year old striker..

Blackburn Rovers are preparing for a quick return to the Championship and signed a number of new players, one is Rotherham midfielder Richard Smallwood. Smallwood (26) has prevously played for Middlesbrough.

Will Hughes finally agreed to leave Derby, and his new home will be Watford. The England U.21 star has been linked with a number of clubs during the years, but he said he rather stay at Derby than to sit on a bench in the Premier League. Watford paid 8 million for his services.

Goalkeeper Declan Rudd will next season play for Preston North End. The 26 year old former England U.21 international was ready to find a new club with uncertainty about playing time at Carrow Road.

Newly promoted Forest Green needs a number of new players to survive in League Two. Former Scunthorpe defender Scott Laird is one that will next season play in green and black.

Jermain Defoe will next season play for Bournemouth. Despite having a great season at Sunderland scoring 15 goals in 37 games it never became great for his club. Defoe spent time on loan at the same club, back in 2000/2001, scoring 18 goals in 29 games.

Coventry will next season play at level 4 in English football. They were last at this level in 1959. A new player is signed from League One club Rochdale and hopefully will strengthen them. Experienced midfielder Peter Vincenti has joined.

Erwin Mulder has joined Swansea from Heerenveen. The 28 year old goalkeeper is the first signing for the Welsh this summer. Mulder will compete with Fabianski for the first team job. No transfer fee, since Mulder joined on a Bosman, turning down an offer from the Dutch.
