Former Premier League stars to new clubs, latest
transfers of importance

A number of former
PL players have been on the move lately, signing up for clubs in
other leagues around the globe
Nigel Reo Coker is one familiar name. The former West Ham, Aston
Villa and Bolton midfielder will the next few months be playing
football at level two in Norway. Start Kristiansand has agreed to
sign him up, after Reo Coker had failed trial at first level club
Reo Coker has played in the MLS for the last three seasons with
Vancouver Whitecaps, Montreal Impact and Chivas USA. After his
recent release he decided to try his luck in Norwegian football,
still not older than 32 years of age.
Former Chelsea and West Ham forward Carlton Cole has decided to join
Indonesian club Persib Bandung. Short spells at Celtic and
Sacramento in the last two seasons will now be continued with a new
adventure in Asia.
Former Man City defender Abdisalam Ibrahim has joined Oslo based
Valerenga from Viking Stavanger. The 26 year old Norwegian
international has also played for Stromsgodset, Scunthorpe,
Olympiacos and NEC Nijmegen in his career.
Former Tottenham midfielder Didier Zokora has also headed out to
Indonesia, and will be playing for Semen Padang. Zokora (36) has
played 123 times for his country Ivory Coast and also been at clubs
such as St Etienne, Sevilla and Trabzonspor in the past.
Another former Premier League star Lassana Diarra, previously with
Arsenal, Real Madrid and Portsmouth, has left Marseille and will
playing for Al Jazira. Still not older than 32, and one with a great
career in European football.
Former Liverpool, Paris and Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko is
another recent signing in Indonesian football and has allready made
a number of games for his new club Mitra Kukar.
Former West Bromwich, Cardiff and Stoke forward Peter Odemwingie has
recently left Rotherham and joined Madura United. The start has been
terrific scoring four goals in five games for the Indonesian club.
Didier Drogba is another famous player who will be back in the US to
play, this time for Phoenix Rising. Swizz international Blerim
Dzemaili has also recently moved over the pond and will play for
