Wayne Bridge could be a target for Liverpool and the England international could be close to a move to Anfield. Man City could target Tottenham with a bid for Gareth Bale.

James Milner will join Man City before the season starts, but so far no offers have been accepted by Aston Villa who wants around £ 25 million to let their England international leave.

The future of Fernando Torres is still uncertain. Rumours today links the Spanish international with both Man City and Chelsea. A fee of around £ 50 million will be too much for Liverpool to turn down.

Bolton will have to wait for an answer on their question about a Jack Wilshire season long loan. Arsene Wenger will make up his mind this week if the young talent is first team material at Arsenal.

Martin Jol had agreed a move to Fulham, but was not permitted to leave by Ajax. Jol will now try to convince World Cup stars Maarten Stekelenburg, Gregory van der Wiel and Luis Suarez to stay at the Amsterdam club. All three of them could join other big clubs in Europe, with Arsenal reported to be interested in all three.

Dave Jones is the man El Fayed would like to bring in as the next Fulham manager.

Stoke will try to sign Wigan forward Hugo Rodallega. £ 7 million plus James Beattie is what Tony Pulis will offer to get his target.

Leicester City is linked with Swansea duo Ashley Williams and Darren Pratley. Paulo Sousa could also be close to a move for Andrea Orlandi.

Marseille midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa is a target for Newcastle. Birmingham must double their £ 1.5 million bid to have any hope of signing Crystal Palace defender Nathaniel Clyne.

Chelsea defender Ryan Bertrand is a target for Reading and Bristol City. Both clubs would like to have the young talent on a season long loan.

Loic Remy will have to decide between West Ham and Liverpool. The Nice forward is a close target for both clubs but he could also end up at French top club.

Ajax will be in with a massive battle to keep their top stars. West Ham will make an attempt to sign Miralem Sulajmani, who is one of many Ajax players tempted with offers from Premier League clubs.

Blackpool is linked with a move for Swansea defender Angel Rangel. David James has joined Sunderland on their pre-season tour to Portugal.

Wigan defender Titus Bramble is close to joining Sunderland. The former Ipswich and Newcastle defender will welcome a reunion with his former boss at Wigan, Steve Bruce.

Alexander Hleb is keen on a Premier League return. Fulham, West Ham, Newcastle and Birmingham are all linked with the former Arsenal midfielder.

Everton will face a massive battle to keep Mikel Arteta. Arteta is a close target for many Spanish clubs and a £12 million bid from Sevilla is expected to make it difficult to not accept. Reports today also tells that Arsene Wenger and Arsenal will join the race.

Sheffield United is linked with former Fulham and Bolton midfielder Andranik Teymourian. Teymourian has recently been on trial at Blackburn, but could end up at Bramall Lane.

Swindon will go for straight promotion this season and has seen the Celtic duo Paul Caddis and Simon Ferry as ideal new signings, preparing a £ 500 000 bid for the duo.

Chelsea are linked with Benfica midfielder Ramires. A £ 20 million bid has been put forward, and will probably seal a deal for the Brazilian international.

Roy Hodgson is ready to accept offers for the duo Philipp Degen and Albert Riera. Riera is a target for Olympicos and Deggen looks close to a move to Stuttgart.

Blackpool are close to landing Dundee United defender Gary Kenneth. Kenneth could join Francis Jeffers and Rob Hulse, who are also linked with the Premier League debutant.

Craig Bellamy could be joining Tottenham on a one year loan deal. Tottenham forward Roman Pavlyuchenko is close to a move to Sporting Lisbon.

Raul is a target for Tottenham, Newcastle and Schalke. The 33 year old is set to leave Real Madrid and try his luck abroad and could end up in Premier League.

Wigan is lining up a £ 2 million bid to try to sign Mexican forward Carlos Salcido. Salcido is currently with Dutch club PSV and played in the 2010 World Cup.
