Fulham linked Sven Goran Eriksson is in the dark about his supposed move to Craven Cottage. Eriksson looks eager to stay at national coach for the Ivory Coast for the next four years.

Panathinaikos is linked with Arsenal defender William Gallas. If the Greek club fails in their attempt to sign Gallas they will try to move for West Ham defender Manuel De Costa.

Leeds are closing in on Middlesbrough forward Leroy Lita. Leicester will make a number of new signings when the supposed £ 26 million take over goes through. Swansea midfielder Darren Pratley will be high on new boss Paulo Sousa's target list.

Newcastle goalkeeper Fraser Forster could be going on loan to Burnley. James Milner looks close to a move to Man City. Sir Alex Ferguson dismiss rumours about him making a bid for Inter midfielder Wesley Schneider.

The Joe Cole transfer sage could come to an end this week if Arsenal decides to agree to the demands put forward from the England international.

Liverpool forward Krisztian Nemeth could be on his way to Lecce in a £ 1 million deal. Roy Hodgson has set his eyes on Wigan midfielder Paul Scharner.

Paraguay forward Nelson Valdez is linked with a move to Sunderland. Tottenham looks close to win the battle for Brazilian international Luis Fabiano.

WBA will strenghten their forward line with David Ngog who will sign on a season long loan. Andres Iniesta's dream of teaming up with Cesc Fabregas can only happen if Iniesta is ready to join Arsenal.

Man City is ready to cash in £ 50 million on a number of high profiled sales. The first big name to leave Eastlands could be Robinho, followed by Shaun Wright-Phillips and Craig Bellamy.

Leeds is linked with a move for Hamilton midfielder James McArthur. The Scotland U.21 international is also a target for Wigan. 

Emile Heskey is a target for Celtic. Heskey is not a certainty in the Villa team and a move up north at the age of 32 would probably be a good idea.

Jack Wilshire is wanted at Bolton. The highly talented player is not certain of a place in the first team at Arsenal and a loan move back to Bolton could be happening.

Thierry Henry looks certain to snub any approaches from Tottenham and Arsenal and join MLS club New York Red Bulls.

Harry Redknapp is desperate to sign Joe Cole, if he is succesful in his chase he might have to sell David Bentley to Aston Villa to make space for the England international.
