Latest transfer rumours, Toure close to Man City arrival





David Silva has allready joined Man City and Yaya Toure could be the next to follow. Roberto Mancini is eager to make his team prepared for a real battle next season, article continues

Yaya Toure is close to his Man City switch from Barcelona. As soon as this transfer is completed Barcelona will table a £ 25 million bid for Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano.

Germany international Per Mertesacker is a close target for Arsenal. Werder Bremen will be temtped with a £ 10 million that will probably be too good to turn down.

Blackburn are favourites to sign Rangers forward Kris Boyd. The Scottish international has allready been at Ewood Park for talks with manager Sam Allardyce.

Liverpool could be in a massive battle with Everton for LA Galaxy forward Landon Donovan. Donovan could be moving to the Premier League for a new loan period.

Paulo Sousa looks certain to land the vacant manager position at Leicester. Just hours after Pearson left the club, it has been no secred that the Swansea boss was the favourite to get the job.

Scott Parker and Hugo Rodallega are both linked with a move to Villa Park. Martin O'Neill will see the two as ideal additions to his squad.

Sunderland have made a £ 7 million bid for West Ham defender Matthew Upson. Birmingham will not make a bid of £ 6 million for Fulham forward Bobby Zamora.

Mark Hughes, Sven Goran Eriksson and Alan Curbishley are the three hottest candidates for the vacant job as Fulham manager.

Roy Hodgson could be heading back to Fulham and try to sign Brede Hangeland and Bobby Zamora. Both players are linked with other clubs and could move on this summer.

Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool are all in the chase for WBA midfielder Graham Dorrans. The 23 year old Scottish international will be offered a new contract at The Hawthorns bot it could be too late.

Steve Simonsen is lined up as the man to take over from Paddy Kenny at Sheffield United. The Stoke goalkeeper has mostly been warming the bench at Britannia.

Fulham could give David James a chance to play on at Premier League level. Their current goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer looks certain to join Arsenal.

Chelsea midfielder Deco could be heading back to Brazil and join Fluminense. Jimmy Bullard is still not certain of his future. He could be staying at Hull after a money dispute at Celtic stalled the deal.

Sunderland will this week sign Egyptian defender Ahmed Al-Muhammadi. This will be a season long loan deal from ENPPI.

Fulham will offer West Ham £ 8 million for Carlton Cole. Cole could also be a target for a number of other Premier League clubs with Liverpool, Sunderland and Aston Villa also mentioned to be interested.

Blackburn looks close to sign Lyon forward Frederic Piquionne. Sunderland is close to sign John Utaka from Portsmouth.

Roy Hodgson will get £ 15 million to spend this summer. Hodgson could also be tempted to let some of his fringe players leave to get more cash to spend.

Manchester City will be back with a new and improved offer for Aston Villa midfielder James Milner. The move could be financed with both Craig Bellamy and Shaun Wright-Phillips part of the deal.
