Fabio Capello will be the one
single difference between the two teams. England will also be up against
a German manager that has no previous experience of winning big things.
England managed to win the battle in !966, their advantage back then was
of course a massive support from the terraces and a team inspired by a
goal that no one yet has managed to find out if it was correct or not.
England came close in 1990 after losing out on penalties, and we all
know that Germany is a clever team when it comes to that sort of
competition.
England has not yet seen the best of Lampard and Rooney, and hopefully
with both of them 100 % fit, we might see the touch of magic. Both
players are capable of winning games for England.
Capello will most certainly give Jermain Defoe another chance up front
with Rooney and that makes England dangerous. They will have four proven
goalscorers in their team, who all can win it for England.
Rooney, Lampard, Defoe and Gerrard are all players that can make the
differance. That power is not in the German team at the moment.
John Terry is getting better and better and he will most certainly be
partnered by Matthew Upson, who is the best player to use besides Terry.
Ashley Cole and Glen Johnson are rated as two of the best attacking full
backs in this tournemant, together with Brazilian Maicon.
The fact that Italy went out of the World Cup 2010 in a humiliating way,
is also of importance sine their last hope of glory will be Capello.
England has all the abillity and the best players, hopefully Capello
will manage to take England to the quarter finals with a win against
Germany.
Preferred line-up:
James - Johnson, Cole, Terry, Upson - Barry, Lampard, Gerrard, Milner -
Defoe, Rooney
