Latest transfer rumours, Ballack and Cole released by Chelsea





Michael Ballack and Joe Cole are released by Chelsea. Ballack is at the moment sitting out an injury and must decide over the summer what to do next in his career. Cole, currently with England in South Africa, is linked with a possible move to Arsenal, article continues

Kenny Dalglish is ready to quit the manager selection panel at Liverpool, and join the race for the vacant job at Anfield.

Robinho could be a shock target for Barcelona. Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be on his way to Manchester City, with the Brazilian as a part of the package.

Arsenal defender William Gallas is a target for Panathinaikos. Gallas looks certain to leave Arsenal, but the Greek club could get competition from Juventus, AC Milan and Marseille.

Vicenco Iaquinta could be leaving Juventus and sign for Tottenham. The 30 year old Italian international is keen on a chance to play in the Premier League.

Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger could be on his way to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea will make a formal bid of £ 25 million.

West Ham is linked with Nigerian international Apam Onyekachi. The 23 year old Nice player could be available for £ 4 million.

Tuncay looks certain to leave Stoke this summer, with Blackburn the favourites to sign the Turkish international.

Roy Hodgson is the favourite to take over from Rafael Benitez, and Kenny Dalglish will only be a candidate if Hodgson refuses to take charge at Anfield.

Blackpool could be lining up a move for Wolves for Sylvain Ebanks-Blake. The former Man Utd and Plymouth forward would be ideal for the survival plans currently drawn up by Ian Holloway.

Chelsea is ready to tempt Hearts winger Andy Driver with a one year loan deal. if things works out, a permanent £ 5 million move could be possible in 2011.
