Marouane Chamakh has signed a long term deal with Arsenal and joins on a free from French club Bordeaux. The 26 year old forward will be a great signing for the North Londoners.

David James
has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs, but now it is possible that he can become the next Portsmouth manager.

Man City is linked with the Urguayan forward Edinson Cavani. Cavani has had a great season with his Italian club Palermo. Man City must pay a fee in the region of £ 22 million to get his signature. Cavani is also a target for Tottenham.

West Ham is ready to bring Thierry Henry back to English football. Fran Merida looks certain to leave Arsenal and join Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal are still in the battle to keep Cesc Fabregas, but it will be a great struggle when the player in question is desperate to join Barcelona.

Burnley is ready to make a £ 2 million bid for Peterborough forward George Boyd. Martin Petrov is on his way out at Man City, he could join a number of clubs.

Alberto Aguilani will stay at Liverpool, despite a terrible first season at Anfield. Robinho is eager to stay at Santos and has no desire to return to Eastlands.
