Tottenham duo David Bentley and Jamie O'Hara (pic) are both
players who could leave White Hart Lane this summer. O'Hara is currently
with Portsmouth on loan, and Bentley has just been a cover for injured
players since Harry Redknapp arrived.
News of the World reports that Sunderland manager Steve Bruce is
ready to launch a £ 10 million bid for the duo. O'Hara has impressed
heavilly at Portsmouth and Bentley has a fantastic potential.
Bentley joined Tottenham for Blackburn in July 2008 for a fee of £15
million. The player was at that time regarded as England potential and
had made a number of full international appearances.
Harry Redknapp has to sell players to get his hands on new and better
players so the rumour about Bentley and O'Hara can't really be seen as a
big surprise.
