Transfer rumours update, Soccervoice, Robinho to Santos
-

Robinho is rumoured to be leaving Man City and return to Brazil. Santos will be his next club. Here are todays transfer rumour update

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has denied reports about him bringing players in during the January transfer window.

Today Chelsea is linked with a move for Middlesbrough midfielder Adam Johnson, but the transfser will not be happening before the end of the season.

Man City could go crazy and bid £100 million for Liverpool forward Fernando Torres. With Robinho leaving and also Carlos Tevez in doubt over his future at Eastlands, it could be happening.

Marco Ruben is ready to join Wigan from Villareal. Kenwyne Jones is linked with a move to Liverpool, but it will only be happening if Arsenal makes a serious bid for Ryan Babel.

Blackburn and Newcastle could be involved in a swap deal, with Alan Smith moving to Ewood Park and Keith Andrews going the opposite way.

Carlton Cole and Robbie Keane could also be part of a swap deal. West Ham are probably after a bit of cash to finance a chance to sign more than Robbie Keane.

Blackburn forward Jason Roberts could join Wigan in a £1 million move.

Georgio Chiellini is lined up as one of the players Sir Alex Ferguson could sign as cover for Nemanja Vidic who is certain to join Barcelona or Real Madrid in the summer.

Mike Pollitt could join Aston Villa as a cover for Americans Brad Friedel and Brad Guzan. Milan Javanovic looks likely to choose Birmingham in front of Aston Villa. >

Roberto Mancini is keen to make new additions to his squad and has, according to Daily Star on Sunday, made a £15 million bid for Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Gago

Damien Plessis could leave Liverpool now in January. Clubs in the Championship could be eager to sign the highly talented midfielder.

Eidur Gudjohnsen could be on his way to West Ham and join from Monaco on loan. David James has joined Stoke, this is a strange signing and puts Thomas Sorensen under a great deal of pressure.

Robinho looks set to join Santos, but Benfica could be a late contender and hijack the move. Phillipe Senderos will be with Everton until the end of the season.

Kris Boyd has been chased by Aston Villa, but it is more likely that the Rangers forward will end up at Newcastle or Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal could be close to make a deal for Crystal Palace winger Victor Moses. The young talent has been linked with a number of European top clubs. Nottingham Forest is also keen to join the race and the price tag could be as high as £ 4 million.

Jussi Jaaskelainen could be the next Man Utd goalkeeper. Sir Alex is keen to find the perfect replacement for Edwin van der Sar and Jaskelainen fits the bill perfectly.
