WBA, highest above sea level !
-
|
 |
WBA is one of the clubs on top of a
number of strange statistics. WBA is currently playing at the ground
highest above sea level.
Their home ground, The
Hawthorns, is 168 meters above sea level, and no other league club
play at a that altitude.
A number of clubs in the lower leagues have grounds who are at a
higher altitude

WBA looks certain to
escape any form for a higher sea level in our globe heating enviroment,
but who could be in line to find a new place to play when the sea level
rise.
Grimsby, Hull and Southampton are the clubs currently playing at grounds
almost on the same level as the sea. They are only 6 feet or lower above
sea level.
