Christmas parties, footballers and Tiger Woods
-

A number of Tottenham players flew out to Dublin for a "secret" Christmas Party. Tiger Woods  has fallen from his pedestal. This shows that no one is perfect and that is probably a good sign

The most perfect sportsman in the World, Tiger Woods, has fallen from his pedestal. A number of insidents came to the surface and in a way made the golfer human.

The fact that Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp makes angry comments about some of his players taking a short trip to Dublin for a Christmas party, makes you wonder how the future will be like.

Tiger Woods is a much bigger celebrity than any footballer in the English Premier League. The way Woods has behaved makes you wonder why footballers in England are more likely to not do the same.

Christmas Parties are not illegal. Going on a tour to Dublin is not illegal. why can't they do that as long as they behave and are having a good time. Why is it dangerous to have a bit of fun. And we all know that grown up's who have fun sometimes drink a beer or two.

In the ideal world no one should drink, smoke or having a bit of fun. Everyone should go to church and be 100 % A4 all the time.

Can English football manage to get all their players to live a life without taking a drink, sitting at home and just consentrate on football ?

The queston must be asked and is this actually the way we want footballers to live ?

The world of football is a mirror of the world itself and you get all sorts of types.

Players such as George Best, Diego Maradona and Paul Gascoigne never lived by example but they had a place in football.

Players simular to Best, Maradona and Gascoigne will not be allowed in the game of the future.

Will this loss of talent also destroy the entertainment and the creativity. Can we really let football be without this talent.

We just have to hope that money, rules and regulations will not destroy the chance of a creative player that is not A4.

The big question is, where do we draw the line ?
